I bought a sliding door from Lowes and it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! First, they charged me $35 for the installer to come out and take measurements, then wanted to rip me off by charging over $1000 for the installation (as opposed to $400+ advertised in store). The biggest problem is that they sold me a sliding door WITH THE DOOR HANDLE ON THE WRONG SIDE after verifying everything literally at least 10 times and making sure that I understood and specifically signed for the correct door orientation. Lowes screwed up and sold me the wrong door. Unfortunately, I found that out only after my installer was done with the installation.

Honestly, out of 5 Stars this Lowe's really deserves all 5 of them... They were Clean, Shelves were Stocked, and Variety-Brand/Size/Item was impressive!
However, I don't believe Lowes as a whole earns the 5 star rating! To me the corporate store layout completely lacks common sense! Due to the fact that it was generated to benefit Marketing Concepts... Rather than the CUSTOMER AND INSTEAD OF QUALITY DESIGN IT FEELS LIKE A SLOPPY MAZE OF WASTED TIME!!!
Totally unhelpful customer service, including Donna, and worst of all - April. They told me to take the door out and bring it back to the store myself. Really?! Thanks a lot, and good bye. I've been a regular customer for many years. Home Depot is next door.
Horrible horrible policies. I purchased a wood burning stove less than a month ago. Shortly after the second fire the cast iron side cracked. Lowes now expects me to uninstall and return this 200 pound stove to the store. I had this stove installed so I'm losing money from my pocket because their product failed. I'm extremely disipointed in this company which I've shopped at for so long. Safe to say this company has lost a 10 plus year customer.
