What does Care On Demand mean??? I tried to make an appointment for Care On Demand by calling the number given since I needed a sick appointment the same day. Online appointments you have to wait a day or so to get appointment. I thought I would be ahead of the game if I called to make an appointment with the Care On Demand number. Boy I was wrong! I was told I could not make an appointment because there weren't any. I actually paused before I asked, " What does Care on Demand mean?" Person on phone could not answer me so I tried to ask it another way. " So, if I were to walk in today for Care on Demand, say at 4:00, would I be seen?" Answer was," NO," "there are no physicians on the schedule????" I was put on hold for awhile and when person retuned, again they said no appointments or On Demand Care . This was the Phillipsburg, Red School Lane building which has Care On Demand. I am just glad I didn't waste my time going there. The person answering phone was no help and gave no suggestions or explanations. I asked if I could have the number of that building's Care On Demand, and was told that she was the number, but she was not in that building???? Again... this raises some RED FLAGS. If they cannot get simple office procedures and scheduling correct do I trust them with my health care??? What does Care On Demand mean anyway? Isn't it the same as a walk in clinic or Doctor's Inn
Although the doctor was very nice and the staff was professional. You better hope you never run into a situation, where you need any type of pain medication. The doctor that was treating me knew exactly what kind of pain, but stated he doesn't like to write prescriptions for anything with a narcotic in it. Not everyone is a dope fiend and there are people out there who are actually in pain and I felt as though in that regard I was treated poorly.
Have used these guys many times for my children and their injuries. They have been very informative and great with my kids. They took my son in right away when he had hurt his shoulder( which we found out he cracked a bone) and took very good care of him. They also took care of my daughter with her knee when she had effects from Lyme's set in her knee. Many other issues and have seen many of the doctors on staff along with the pt side.
Very poor customer service, can't be bothered after the surgery when you have an emergency, ended up in the emergency room because they could not be bothered
