I having coming to master cuts for a long time. I was in a few days ago as a walk in and my stylist was Salena. When she turned me around to see my new cut I LOVED it!!! I have had so many complaints on my hair. Great job Salena as always thank you!!!!

Hello. I thought I should write this referring to the review right under this written by Kristy Frutchey. I am Angela, the stylist Kristy is referring to, and would just like to clarify a couple of things since I was unfortunately not able to reply to the review. There are always two sides. I will say that I truly value all of my clients and all of the guests that take their time to come into our salon. We appreciate everyone. I love what I do, and have been doing hair for many years. The night Kristy is talking about, I stayed later than I was scheduled at work after a very long,busy day to ensure that her children's hair could be cut. There was not a very long wait for her children and I made sure I got to her as soon as I was finished with the client I was servicing. Kristy was on the phone but I made sure to not interrupt her important phone call and politely ask her son to come sit in my chair. From there (being that she was on the phone) I'm not sure where I went wrong. I can't imagine she was even paying any full attention to what I was doing. I was kind to her son and he seemed like a very sweet boy. She asked me to stop mid cut. I asked what was wrong, but she just stated she didn't like my attitude and she wasn't "feeling it". I did respond that I did not like hers either, and that seemed to set her off. I would never raise my voice or "go off" on someone in my workplace or in front of children. Especially a client. At that point, it was my time to leave. It was actually my time to leave 30 minutes prior. I stayed with the employee that had only her permit to allow her to finish the cut that Kristy had asked me to stop halfway through. I didn't realize Kristy would want me to cut her second sons hair being that she had asked that I not finish her first son. The reason I took the second son was because i felt sad for him that he was put in an embarrassing situation. So yes I did take him and cut his hair. Of course. The following night when she was trying to "escape" me, I made a professional decision that another stylist take both her other two son's cuts while I cleaned the salon to close so that Kristy, her children, and I would not be put in any uncomfortable situations. That all being said, we work very hard, and I can fully understand someone having a " bad day" , but just because I am in the service industry does not mean that I should be spoken down to, or berated. I will not accept that behavior, and I hope no other stylist at this, or any other salon , or just any other person anywhere for that matter , would either. Its not acceptable. It's disrespectful, rude, and quite frankly , just disgusting that someone would think it is okay to speak to someone like that , and I was just supposed to take it ? Absolutely not. That's a joke. Never going to happen.

I told the girl I just wanted my hair cleaned up and trimmed. Specifically said take an inch off. She must have hacked 5 inches off my hair that took me forever to grow. Now my hair is all uneven and hacked up I look embarrassingly ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN!

I took two of my sons in for a quick haircut, I was already having a bad day and was making important phone calls. When I got there I was made to wait for a long period of time, but I didn’t mind. When it was finally our turn the stylist “Angela” had a dirty look on her face and was extremely rude. I stopped her and told her that I wanted the other stylist to finish my sons hair, because I didn’t like her attitude and she went off on me in front of my children. She told me “she didn’t like my attitude either and that my younger son couldn’t get his hair cut now because she was LEAVING.” The other stylist Morgan was sweet and sympathetic, but she had her permit so she couldn’t cut hair alone. Finally after pleading with Angela she decided she would finish my other sons hair. This experience was a nightmare. The next night I went in pretty late with my other two boys, hoping to escape Angela... but she was there. Wouldn’t say a word to me the whole time, but another stylist Taran took her time and pleasantly helped my boys with their fresh new cuts! I usually don’t have this issue and I’ve been coming to this salon for years, but now Angela questions that. I shouldn’t have to feel unwelcome when I am a paying customer!!!!

Worst haircut I have ever had. I have been growing my hair out and just stopped in for a minor trim. The hairdresser proceeded to put the razor to the back of my hairline before I could even object. Owner finally noticed the hairdresser was having trouble and stepped in but it was too late.
